Wine festival kicks off this week

The Okanagan Spring Wine Festival kicks off this week — 10 days to celebrate the region’s great wines, gourmet food and gracious hospitality.

One event that is back for a 5th year and is always a sellout is the Gourmet and Grapes/Iron Chef event at Cabana Grille in Kelowna.

This year, Ned Bell, executive chef at the Four Seasons Vancouver faces off against Calgary based chef Ray Bear.

More than 100 other events are planned throughout the Valley for the Spring Wine Festival which runs until May 12.
