MOOSE JAW, Sask. – Kristian Roykas Marthinsen has pushed the Saskatoon Blades into the second round of the Western Hockey League playoffs.
Roykas Marthinsen scored the winner at 4:36 of overtime as Saskatoon edged the Moose Jaw Warriors 4-3 on Wednesday to sweep its first-round series in four games.
Max Gerlach, Tristen Robins and Kirby Dach also scored for the Blades.
Luke Ormsby, Matthew Benson and Tristin Langan had goals for the Warriors.
Nolan Maier made 23 saves for Saskatoon as Adam Evanoff kicked out 44 shots for Moose Jaw.
RAIDERS 4 REBELS 1
RED DEER, Alta. — Brett Leason scored twice and Cole Fonstad had a goal and two helpers as Prince Albert swept the Rebels in four games to advance.
Ozzy Wiesblatt also scored while Ian Scott turned aside 21 shots for the Raiders.

Jeff de Wit was the lone Red Deer skater to beat Scott. Ethan Anders made 31 saves in defeat.

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. — Vince Loschiavo had two goals and an assist as Edmonton toppled the Tigers to even its first-round series 2-2.
Andrew Fyten, Quinn Benjafield and Matthew Robertson also scored for the Oil Kings, who got 14 saves from Todd Scott.
Ryan Jevne replied for Medicine Hat. Mads Sogaard turned aside 31 shots in a losing cause.

KAMLOOPS, B.C. — Connor Zary scored twice and Luke Zazula had a goal and two assists as the Blazers doubled up Victoria to pull their first-round set even at two games each.
Kyrell Sopotyk, Zane Franklin, Luke Zazula and Martin Lang also scored for Kamloops. Dylan Ferguson made 15 saves for the victory.
Dino Kambeitz had a pair of goals and Igor Martynov scored for the Royals. Griffen Outhouse turned aside 41 shots while Kody McDonald was ejected at 7:58 of the third for attempt to injure a player.

THUNDERBIRDS 4 GIANTS 3
KENT, Wash. — Matthew Wedman potted the go-ahead goal at 15:46 of the third as Seattle beat Vancouver to make it 2-2 in its first-round matchup.
Keltie Jeri-Leon, Noah Philp and Andrej Kukuca also scored for the Thunderbirds as Roddy Ross kicked out 26 shots for the win. Sean Richards was handed a game misconduct at 4:16 of the first for checking from behind.
Dylan Plouffe, Brayden Watts and Davis Koch replied for the Giants. David Tendeck stopped 30 shots in a losing cause.

CHIEFS 4 WINTERHAWKS 3 (OT)
PORTLAND, Ore. — Adam Beckman scored at 4:39 of overtime as Spokane came back to beat the Winterhawks in Game 4 of its first-round set.
Ty Smith, Luke Toporowski and Eli Zummack also scored while Bailey Brkin made 35 saves for the Chiefs, who lead the series 3-1.
Josh Paterson struck twice and Brendan De Jong had the other Portland goal. Joel Hofer turned aside 33 shots in a losing cause.

KENNEWICK, Wash. — Parker AuCoin scored at 7:52 of the extra period as Tri-City took Game 3 over Everett for its first win of the series.
Samuel Stewart and Nolan Yaremko also scored as Beck Warm turned away 39 shots for the Americans.
Martin Fasko-Rudas and Bryce Kindopp scored while Dustin Wolf made 28 saves for the Silvertips, who lead the first-round set 2-1.
