Thompson man left for dead on road after apparent hit and run

A man is dead after an apparent hit and run in Thompson.

Thompson RCMP said they received a report early Friday morning of a vehicle-pedestrian collision on Provincial Road 391.

When they arrived, officers found a man lying in the road, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said they believe the man was hit by a car, although the vehicle left the scene. The victim, in his 40s, has not been identified.
