More than 100 potential retailers have pre-qualified as part of the province’s latest roll-out of pot stores. Those applicants will then take part in a random draw based on the location they prefer.
The government’s goal is for 90 per cent of Manitobans to have a recreational cannabis store located within a 30-minute drive, by October 2020.
The province has not yet said when the next round of openings will be approved.
