4th suspect arrested after Hells Angels member gunned down in Mississauga

Peel Regional Police have arrested a fourth suspect wanted in connection with the shooting death of a Hells Angels member in Mississauga last week.

Police said they responded to a call around 11 a.m. on March 11 at the Huf Gym at 700 Dundas St. E. near Cawthra Road.

Officers found a man, identified as 32-year-old Michael Deabaitua-Schulde, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators said the victim, who was known to authorities, was a member of the Niagara chapter Hells Angels motorcycle gang and that the shooting was targeted.

Police said two suspects were arrested in Montreal on March 13 and a third, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, surrendered on Sunday.

Authorities said the fourth suspect, identified as 26-year-old Marc Issa El-Khoury of Montreal, was caught on Wednesday trying to cross the border to the U.S. from Champlain, Quebec. He is facing a charge of first-degree murder.

Investigators said the suspects are not associated with a motorcycle gang but are believed to be involved in organized crime.

Authorities have not revealed the motive of the shooting and say the investigation is ongoing.
