HALIFAX — A woman in north end Halifax was arrested for cocaine trafficking on Tuesday night.
According to a press release, the joint Halifax Regional Police – Royal Canadian Mounted Police drug unit made the arrest around 7:20 p.m. on Gottingen St. The 31-year-old surrendered to police without incident, said Staff Sgt. Lindsay Hernden.
The woman is charged with posession of drugs with the purpose of trafficking. She has since been released and will be in court at a later date.
