Correction: Saskatoon police originally stated the victim was declared dead at hospital

Police remain at two locations in the city as the investigation into Saskatoon’s second homicide of 2019 continues.

Officers were called to the 100 block of Avenue Q South on Tuesday evening for a report of an injured man in the alleyway.

They located a 31-year-old man, who was declared dead at the scene.

Police have not released his name or a cause of death.

Investigators with the major crimes section have identified persons of interest, but no arrests have been made.

Saskatoon police remain at the scene where the man was located, and in the 200 block of Avenue S South.
