A man from Barrie has been charged in connection with an investigation into alleged inappropriate online exchanges, police say.
Barrie police say on Thursday, members of the internet child exploitation unit arrested and charged a 37-year-old Barrie man with luring a child, sending sexually explicit material to a child and invitation to sexual touching.
Officers say the investigation also led to the execution of a search warrant.
As a result, police say electronic devices were seized for further forensic analysis.
According to police, the accused appeared in court in Barrie on Friday.
