Prince Albert police arrested a 50-year-old man who was found naked in a grocery store this past weekend.

Officers were called to a disturbance in the 500-block of 15th Street East just after 7 p.m. CT on March 3.

It was reported to police the unknown man inside the grocery store was hallucinating and destroying property.

The nude man ignored the officers’ verbal commands and attempted to flee on foot.

Police said he continued to struggle with them while being taken to a patrol car.

He is facing charges of mischief, assaulting a police officer, obstructing a police officer, committing an indecent act and breaching a court order.

The accused was expected to make his first Prince Albert provincial court appearance on March 4.
