Just weeks prior to the crash, Logan told his parents of his desire to donate his organs.
Boulet’s gift helped save six lives and inspired an estimated 100,000 Canadians to register their intent to donate their organs.
April 7 is Green Shirt Day for Organ Donor Awareness & Registration, presented by Canada’s Organ & Tissue Donation Community in partnership with Global News.
Wear green to keep the “Logan Boulet effect” alive and inspire more Canadians to become organ donors.
Ninety per cent of Canadians say they support organ donation, yet only 23 per cent are registered; meanwhile approximately 250 people die each year waiting for an organ.
For the next several weeks, Global News across the country will highlight stories about the Boulet family and the importance of organ donation.
