Montreal massacre anniversary

Hundreds of women who gathered to mark the 22nd anniversary of the Montreal Massacre are angry with the Harper government over its decision to abolish the long-gun registry. They did not invite Conservatives to the gathering on Parliament Hill. Gun control advocate Wendy Cukier says the anniversary is to mourn the deaths of 14 women and to work for change.
