A man in Lindsay, Ont., is accused of threatening to kill his parents.
City of Kawartha Lakes Police Service say on Thursday, a woman contacted the detachment to report that a man allegedly told her he was going to kill his parents.
Police say the investigation revealed the man made several statements to the woman about carrying out the threat against his family.
Police located the suspect later in the afternoon and arrested him.

The man has been charged with one count of uttering a threat to cause death and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
He was held in custody for a court appearance scheduled for Friday.
The name of the suspect was not released in order to protect the identity of the victims involved, police said.
