West Shore RCMP are looking for help from the public after an ATM was reported stolen from a convenience store in Langford on Saturday morning.
Two suspects were captured on surveillance video entering the store on Happy Valley Road and hauling the ATM out.
The first suspect was wearing a baseball cap, jacket and long pants.
The second suspect was wearing a hoodie with the hood up, winter jacket with a possible fur-collared hood and long pants.
A similar incident happened in Langford earlier this month, according to police.
On Feb. 2, a man ran into a convenience store on West Shore Parkway and placed a tow wire around an ATM, appearing to attempt to haul it away with a white Ford F150 pickup truck parked outside. The alleged attempt failed after the tow wire snapped.
It’s unclear if these two incidents are connected.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact West Shore RCMP at 250-474-2264. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
