Man threatens with axe during noise complaint: St. Thomas police

Police in St. Thomas said they arrested a man after an early-morning noise complaint turned violent.

Officers said they responded to an address on John Street on Thursday morning. Once on scene, police allege a man used an axe to threaten other people.

No injuries were reported, and police said there’s no threat to public safety. Investigators said it was an isolated incident.
