Calgary police are on the lookout for a man they say is connected to a homicide in Vancouver.
Conor Vincent D’Monte is wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for murder and conspiracy to commit murder, police said Wednesday.
Police said D’Monte has “criminal connections to individuals who reside in the Calgary area” and are asking for the public to keep an eye out for this individual.
D’Monte was charged in the 2009 murder of Red Scorpion gang member Kevin LeClair, who was gunned down in a Langley, B.C. parking lot.
He is also accused of conspiring to murder the Bacon brothers.
D’Monte is described as being 6’1″ with olive skin and shaved black hair and a tattoo of Chinese characters on his right shoulder.
“D’Monte is known to have numerous connections, not only in Canada and the United States but also in Asia, Europe, and Mexico,” police said. “D’Monte must be considered armed and extremely dangerous. Anyone offering him assistance in evading arrest may be considered an accessory after the fact.”
“There is now a $100,000 reward for information leading to his arrest and the loyalties of his associates will be tested,” Trent Rolfe, chief superintendent with the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit (CFSEU) said on Jan. 30.
