Winnipeggers are greeted by another day of freezing temperatures, forcing cancellations across the province.
Many schools in southern Manitoba have announced closures, such as Garden Valley School Division and Lakeshore School Division.
Lord Selkirk School Division is also closed, however teachers are still expected to report to work.

In Winnipeg all six school divisions are open and buses are running.
The divisions said they don’t close schools until the temperature reaches – 45 C at the Forks.
Weather Specialist Kahla Shea says temperatures will rebound in time for the weekend, the expected high for Saturday is -13.
