Cold weather forces Stony Mountain Ski Hill to postpone lessons

Skiers and snowboarders scheduled for lessons won’t be heading out on the slopes at Stony Mountain Ski Hill this week.

The ski hill announced it has postponed lessons until Feb. 3 due to the severe, cold weather.

According to the website, Mogul mouse, Edgemasters and Snowriders classes are among the groups whose lessons are postponed.

The ski hill was also closed on the previous two weekends due to the extreme cold.
