History

Ceci was elected as an MLA in 2015 in Calgary-Fort, but much of the area he represents has been redrawn. He previously represented the area as a member of Calgary city council.

Calgary-Buffalo is traditionally less conservative than the rest of Calgary.

The PC party has won this riding just twice between 1986 and 2012. All other MLAs in that time were Liberal.
