The Global News and CKNW Health Series, presented by Women’s Sense, is an in-depth collection of interviews and health stories featuring some of today’s most respected health practitioners.
The series runs on Global BC and CKNW from Jan. 14 to the 27 and will include segments on Global News at 5 and CKNW, tackling various topics on marijuana and mental health.
Marijuana-related topics will include CBD versus THC, treating depression and anxiety with marijuana, treating chronic pain and topical applications versus ingestion.
The remaining stories will address mental health, including creating a work-life balance, the role of hormones in mental health, understanding the early warning signs and symptoms of mental illness and treating substance abuse.
