4 teenagers charged after alleged assault and collision

Hamilton police have now charged four teenagers in connection with an assault and crash on the Mountain.

Police were called to a disturbance in the area of Queen Victoria Road and Quaker Crescent, near Upper Gage and Stone Church, around 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Police say there were two fights involving the suspects, leaving a male youth with minor injuries, moments before a silver Nissan crashed into a tree.

Police say three police officers were assaulted by one of the parties.

The investigation into the collision continues.

Three boys and a girl, between the ages of 15 and 17, are facing charges that include assault with a weapon, uttering threats, and assaulting a peace officer.
