A snowfall warning remains in effect for Lethbridge, Taber and Milk River.

A heavy snow band is strengthening over southern Alberta and is expected to mix with a second low-pressure system moving in from the northern United States. That’s expected to push more moisture into Southern Alberta on Sunday.

10 to 30 centimetres of snow is expected on Sunday, with even more expected to accumulate in some areas.

The chilly weather is expected to continue through until the middle of the week, with light snow expected on Monday and Tuesday. The weather is expected to warm up around Wednesday, reaching a high of 4 degrees. Temperatures are expected to reach 10 degrees on Friday.
