SAINT JOHN, N.B. – Police in New Brunswick say a man who was assaulted at a lounge more than two weeks ago has died.
Saint John Police say officers were called to AJ’s Restaurant and Lounge on Manawagonish Road on April 1.

They say 43-year-old Scott Crawford was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say Crawford died of his injuries on Friday night.

At the time of the incident, police arrested a 37-year-old man and charged him with aggravated assault.
He was released on a number of conditions and is expected to appear in court on May 8.
