The OPP is investigating a fatal collision involving a transport truck east of London that left a 22-year-old man dead.
Emergency crews responded to the scene on Hwy. 2, just west of Thamesford, around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.
According to police, a westbound transport truck collided with an eastbound vehicle near Hunt Road.

The male driver and lone occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene, officers said.
On Wednesday, police identified him as Ryan McClintic, 22, of London.
The male driver of the truck was not injured, and the collision remains under investigation.
Hwy. 2 was closed between Cobble Hills Road and 15th Line for about eight hours, as was Hunt Road between Trafalgar and Dundas streets.

During the closure, police said a vehicle drove around the clearly marked road closure barriers and entered the collision scene around 1 a.m. In a release, police said they determined the male driver had consumed alcohol.
A 28-year-old Milton, Ont. man is facing two impaired driving offences.
