The Sea to Sky Highway has been reopened both ways for traffic after a fatal crash on Sunday.
Squamish RCMP are asking motorists to allow time for traffic congestion to decrease and to drive cautiously, as the roads are slick with the cooler temperatures.
The collision happened just south of the Chance Creek Bridge between Squamish and Whistler, according to DriveBC.
Squamish RCMP said the collision, which happened around noon, involved three vehicles and left an adult woman dead.
Insp. Dale Carr Regional Duty Officer for the Lower Mainland District RCMP says while reopening the highway was a top priority for police, the over-riding priority had been to gather evidence in as a manner possible to allow for a thorough investigation.
The condition of the other people involved in the crash remains unknown.
