CALGARY- Fire crews rushed to contain a fast-moving grass fire on Friday afternoon, in the community of Silverado.
The call came in around 2:30 p.m., about a blaze in the 19000 block of Sheriff King Street S.E.

The fire grew to about 10 acres in size, and crews also had to battle a strong wind as they worked to extinguish the flames.
It came close to one home, before firefighters managed to put it out. They spent the evening on scene putting out hot spots.
