CALGARY – ENMAX says they are looking into a number of power outage throughout the city.
The outages appear to have been caused by a series of fires involving power poles.

Officials say the fires can be caused by fog and high humidity, which can combine with dust on electrical lines to cause short circuits.
The power outages are affecting both traffic lights and street lights in areas throughout Calgary.
If you encounter a downed power line you’re advised not to touch it, and to instead call 911 to report it.
