Emergency crews rushed to a house fire in West Kelowna on Friday afternoon.
Blake smoke and fire could be seen rising from the single-storey residence on Smith Creek Road.
There was no word on what caused the fire, which was contained to a back bedroom.
One witness said he saw smoke and banged on the house while also shouting to see if anyone was home. The witness said no one answered.
