Police arrest third suspect in connection with Midland kidnapping incident

Police say a third suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with a kidnapping incident in Midland.

According to Southern Georgian Bay OPP, on Saturday, officers received a report of a targeted kidnapping at Little Lake Park.

Police say on Oct. 1, following an investigation, officers arrested and charged two men in connection with the incident.

Officers say both 30-year-old Tylor Norman Dell from Midland and 44-year-old Geromy Earl Shaw from Tay Township have been charged with kidnapping, robbery with violence and aggravated assault.

Police say both men were held for a bail hearing on Tuesday.

Officers have now made a third arrest in connection with the incident.

According to police, 19-year-old Raymond Sarrazin from Midland has been arrested and charged with robbery with violence, kidnapping, aggravated assault, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and uttering threats.

Police say Sarrazin is scheduled to appear at a bail court in Barrie on Wednesday.

According to police, the investigation is ongoing and more details will be released as they become available.
