WINNIPEG – Ethan and Kira Hanstead share a bond that runs deeper than for most siblings.

In March 2012, Kira received the life-saving procedure thanks to Ethan.
It’s been a year since the bone marrow transplant and now Kira is well enough to travel and finally live out a dream vacation that kept her focused on survival.
