Police investigating back-to-back thefts in Salmon Arm

Police are asking for public assistance regarding two crimes in the Salmon Arm area.

On Wednesday, a truck was stolen from Golf Course Drive in Blind Bay, with the theft taking place sometime after 9 p.m. The truck is a white 2006 Ford F350 with large tires and black after-market rims. The B.C. licence plate is JG 1908.

On Thursday, at approximately 4 a.m., a business in Silver Creek was broken into. Police say at least two culprits, clad in masks, were involved in this crime, and that the stolen truck was used in the break-and-enter.

Investigators are working to compile a list of stolen products from the business, but said cigarettes were amongst the pilfered items.
