“Our crew were caught in a massive mudslide! A few of our production trucks were stuck in the river of rushing mud,” Chan said on social media.

Nobody was seriously injured but Chan took to his blog to let his fans know everyone is safe.

“Many of the crew became frightened because it was so sudden. Luckily, some large hook trucks come to our rescue and helped tow our production trucks to safety,” Chan wrote.

This isn’t the first time Chan has dealt with on-set accidents.

In 2014, cinematographer Chan Kwow-hung drowned after a boat containing seven other film crewmembers turned over off the coast of Lantau Island in Hong Kong while working on the action comedy Skiptrace.

The other seven crew members were able to swim to safety.
