OPP say a 55-year-old man from Waterloo Region has died after he was struck by a transport truck on Highway 401.
The collision happened late Wednesday morning in the westbound lanes near Homer Watson Boulevard.
Police said while the circumstances are still being investigated, foul play is not suspected.
“The investigation is still early and ongoing,” said OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt.
