What's open and closed in Kingston on the August long weekend. CKWS

The August long weekend has arrived.

After Saturday’s Princess Promenade, which runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., most Kingstonians will have two more days off to rest before summer nears its end. Monday is the civic holiday, which means there will be adjustments to operating hours. For most businesses downtown, it’s best to call beforehand to see if they’re open, but if you don’t have a store in mind, it’s best to walk around to see what’s open.

To see what is open and closed on Aug. 6, check out the list below.
