This is “The Torch.” This helmet has specially designed lights that are view-able from all angles, while other designs’ lighting disappears from site if you’re not looking at it head on. It was designed by a student who had been hit by a car at night.
No mass production plans yet, but last year this idea earned almost 70 thousand dollars on Kickstarter. The helmet has been entered into a innovations contest in august, that could earn an inventor over 100 thousand dollars. Who knows, you may see it hit shelves this summer.

It couldn’t be truer for one PGA golfer in this video that has received over 5 million hits on Youtube. In the final round of the 2013 Arnold Palmer Invitational, Sergio Garcia refuses to take a drop, and climbs a tree, near the fairway, to hit his second shot on the tenth hole. Not only does he use some incredible climbing skills, he takes the shot, one-handed and backwards.
Here’s a blast from the video game past! “Deviant Art” artist “Elemental79” has taken a screenshot from the classic 1994 game, “Super Metroid” for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and given all the characters and background scenery an update from 16-bit to 3D high resolution. In the video, you can see the step-by-step transformation being done using Photoshop.
This dance routine titled “Duo Flame” has earned nearly ten thousand shares and almost 90 thousand likes on Facebook. The video showcases incredible strength and acrobatics including back flips, front flips and a handstand where he supports the weight of two. It is worth the watch.
