Man facing charges after Prince Albert police seize sawed-off rifle in backpack

Prince Albert police said they have charged a 27-year-old man with multiple gun charges after a complaint this past weekend.

A firearms call in the 300-block of 13th Street East was received on July 28.

A backpack, which contained a sawed-off rifle, was seized from the man.

He is scheduled to make his first Prince Albert provincial court appearance Monday.
