The City of Hamilton is hosting Newcomer Day!
The first-ever event was created by the Hamilton Immigration Partnership Council and it runs until 6 p.m., Friday, July 27, at city hall.
It includes a citizenship ceremony in which 40 Hamilton residents — from 15 different countries — will become Canadian citizens, as well as free entertainment, games, workshops and lunch specials.
