Cyclist dies from injuries following collision with vehicle in Fredericton

A 55-year-old cyclist has died following a collision with a vehicle in Fredericton Friday afternoon.

The Fredericton Police Force says the collision happened around 1:45 p.m. along Ring Road inbound, west of Royal Road.

The woman was transported to hospital from the scene with serious injuries, but police say she has since passed away.

The driver of the vehicle was uninjured.

The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
