The Canadian-made Instant Pot cooking gadget was top of mind for North American shoppers on Amazon Prime Day.
The six-quart, seven-in-one version of the Instant Pot was the highest selling non-Amazon-made product in both the U.S., where 300,000 units were sold, and Canada, Amazon said in a press release.
Usually priced at $99.95, the versatile pressure cooker was made available for $58, a 40 per cent discount.
It’s the second year in a row that the Instant Pot provided sizzling sales; the multi-use pressure cooker was also the top-selling non-Amazon product in North America during last year’s Amazon Prime Day.
