Hamilton police have completed their investigation into the accidental death of a six-year-old boy.

Based on autopsy results and an investigation, police have determined that the tragedy was “non-criminal.”

Police were called to an apartment building on Young Street at about 5 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11 — after receiving reports that the child had fallen from a sixth-floor balcony.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.
