Check out my live demo of the HP TopShot M275 3D printer on today’s GlobalTV Sunday Morning News: http://www.globaltvedmonton.com/video/may+20++tech+talk/video.html?v=2237173741&p=1&s=dd#video
Do you find yourself photographing a lot of objects for use on your computer, sharing or posting pictures online or even showing stuff you sell on eBay?
Check out
the HP TopShot Laserjet Pro M275, $399 but as low as $270 on HP.ca
Its
basically a scanner, copy, print device with a swing-out small digital camera that
captures images of ordinary print, but also 3D objects covering the area of an
8×10 paper sheet. It uses three lights combined with available lighting for
detailed images of objects from flowers, cameras, jewelry and crafts.

of free Web apps from online to print map directions, colouring book pages or
puzzles. The printer is ePrint capable, meaning you can send text or images
with any web connected smartphone or PC to the printer’s unique email address.

business cards in groups directly to address books and directly access web apps
without a PC using the printer’s Web ability.

I was
impressed with its simplicity and ability to save scans in many photo and
document formats. It was easy to set up with simple questions and choices for
your home or small business setup. If you think the ordinary person doesn’t need
this scanner, think again. Do you have a lot of valuable jewelry, cameras and
small collectibles? Imagine scanning them in groups with the M275, even showing
serial numbers and identifying marks for insurance purposes, in only one step.
Nice.
