Saskatoon firefighters remove woman from upside-down car unharmed

A woman who was trapped in an upside-down car Monday morning was safely removed by Saskatoon Fire Department personnel.

The two-vehicle collision at Weyakwin Drive and Taylor Street happened at 9 a.m. CT.

Fire crews arrived to find one of vehicle on its roof with a woman trapped inside.

Firefighters stabilized the car and then extricated the woman through the driver’s side window. She was not injured.

The man driving the other vehicle was also not injured.

Firefighters stayed on scene to clean up debris and fluids left behind from both vehicles.
