RCMP are investigating after gunshots rang out in North Preston, N.S., Thursday evening.

Police say the incident happened on Downey Road shortly before 9 p.m.

Police say multiple shots were fired towards a home. No injuries were reported as a result of the shooting.

RCMP say a small black car was seen leaving the area at the time of the incident.

The investigation into the shooting remains ongoing.
