Calgary police seek to ID robbery suspect

Calgary police are looking to identify a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery on May 15.

Police said in a news release Wednesday a man walked into an ATB bank at 2555 32 Street N.E.  around 3:30 p.m. and passed a note to a teller demanding cash.

“Once he obtained an undisclosed amount of money, he took the note back and left the bank,” police said.

Police describe the suspect as being between 20 to 30-years-old, medium build and approximately 170 centimetres (5’7″) tall.

“During the robbery, he was wearing a black shirt, black backpack, one black glove on his right hand, sunglasses and a camouflage-coloured ball cap,” police said.
