Fri, Oct 20: Calgary police have released CCTV footage of two suspects they believe robbed a northwest bank – Oct 20, 2017

Calgary police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men after a bank was robbed in Brentwood last month.

Police said on Sept. 27 at around 12:50 p.m., two men entered a Scotiabank in the 4100 block of Brentwood Road N.W.

One man guarded the door while the other approached a teller and demanded money. The two men took off after being given an unknown amount of cash, police said.

No one was injured.

One man is described as about 35 to 50 years old and about five feet, 10 inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black Under Armour brand baseball hat, a black nylon zippered jacket and dark-coloured sunglasses. He was also wearing blue jeans and runners with white stripes, police said.

The second man is described as about five feet, eight inches to five feet, nine inches tall with a slim build. He was wearing a black baseball hat with a white brim and dark shoes. He was also wearing dark sunglasses, a dark Under Armour hoodie and blue jeans.

Police are still investigating and anyone with any information is asked to contact the Calgary police service robbery unit at 403-428-8787.
