For ten years, her mother, Bernice Catcheway has only had her photos to hold on to.

“My emotions are real high today. I feel a sadness. I feel very emotional today,” Bernice said.

Bernice and her husband Wilfred have been constantly searching for their daughter since she disappeared around Grand Rapids on June 19, 2008.

“As long as Jen is not home, part of us is missing. And in order to have closure we have to find her,” Wilfred said.

“As long as I’m Alive I’ll keep searching until I bring her home. And I will bring her home.”

“I’ve been chest deep in swamps, we’ve excavated three or four dumps and that’s hard looking for your child in a garbage dump,” Bernice said.

RCMP are investigating her case as a homicide.

Bernice hopes someone, somewhere will come forward with information.

“Whatever you know, whatever you’ve heard, it may be insignificant on your part but it may be the missing puzzle piece to find Jennifer,” she said.

The couple is hosting their annual fundraiser on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 11 p.m. at their home in Portage la Prairie.  Money raised from the 10th annual event will go to support their search efforts.

RCMP said Tuesday they are currently investigating 137 missing persons cases in Manitoba.
