Salvation Army Santa Shuffle

I sported the Santa Hat over the weekend at the Salvation Army Santa Shuffle! Saturday morning was a brisk minus 10, but it was worth bundling up for the 5 km run. The total raised was over $6,000.00 for the local Salvation Army!

It is a chaotic and busy season for every person, but I would like to challenge you to take 2 additional minutes when you walk by a Christmas Kettle and drop a couple of dollars in to support our local Salvation Army. Not only did I learn to bundle up for winter running on a Saturday morning; but more importantly I learned that $80.00 can provide one family with a Christmas Meal. That meal is bacon and eggs, brunch and a turkey feast! Your donation goes so far this holiday season!

A special thank you from Heather and I to the Salvation Army and Chad Jeremy for having us! Enjoy these pictures of Heather and I all bundled up!
