A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious condition after he was stabbed on a Jasper Avenue street corner on Friday night.
Police said the stabbing occurred at about 7 p.m. after an altercation unfolded at the corner of Jasper Avenue and 102 Street.

“Detectives believe the victim and suspect know each other and that this wasn’t a random incident,” police said in a news release.
Police did not say if an arrest has been made in connection with the incident.
