North American Spine is in town this weekend promoting a back procedure it says is minimally invasive and offers relief from the pain caused by bulging disks.
Lyle Regehr of Pincher Creek had the "AccuraScope" procedure done last September – and he says he is now pain free.
A scope is inserted into the spine via a 3 mm incision, Lyle says it was day surgery and he recovered at a motel in Dayton, Ohio.

The AccuraScope procedure is not offered in Canada. Last year the average wait time for Orthopedic Surgery was 10 weeks, not counting possible waits to see a back specialist.
