Edmonton police are investigating a robbery at a southside London Drugs store, where a truck smashed some windows on Thursday morning.
It happened at the location on 51 Avenue, near 105b Street.
Police said at 3:15 .a.m., surveillance video showed an older Dodge pickup truck backed into the windows. Four suspects, disguised in black clothing and baseball caps, went inside and took various electronics, including TVs and cameras.
Police responded about 20 minutes later, but the thieves had already made off with the stolen items.
Two large window panes near the store’s cosmetics section were destroyed and tire marks could be seen on the ground.
The value of the stolen goods is not known.
Police are looking for a late 90s blue Dodge Ram truck, believed to have been stolen from the Old Strathcona area on Wednesday. Police said it was “very identifiable,” with wood panels running down the side.
The store was unable to answer questions about the incident, but the manager said they opened as normal on Thursday.
