3 arrested after man slashed in the chest, robbed of his rental car

Two men and a woman have been arrested after a 50-year-old man was slashed in the chest and had his rental car stolen.

On April 8, police learned of an injured man at Parr Street and Selkirk Avenue and was found in unstable condition.

Officers say the victim was standing outside his rental car when he was approached by two people. One suspect showed a knife and demanded a ride during which the victim ultimately was directed to the bank lane of Selkirk Avenue where he was slashed across the chest with a knife, forced to hand over his bank cards, personal identification numbers and vehicle.

A few days later on April 13, Air1 spotted the stolen vehicle in the area of Parr Street and Mountain Avenue. Both passengers in the vehicle fled and were later found by the police K9 unit.

The next day on April 14, another suspect from the robbery was also located and arrested.

Cody Henry Bousquet, 27, has been charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and fail to comply with probation order. Demaris Angel Rose Flett, 20, is facing charges of public mischief, possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and fail to comply with recognizance. Barry Shane Stevenson, 30, has been charged with assault with a weapon and robbery.

Police are looking for a fourth suspect.
